Gifts of the Spirit (Part-1): Concerning Spiritual Gifts

Before we dive into looking at spiritual gifts, we wish to remind us a few things of importance concerning the Holy Spirit. The Person of the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit is a Person, in the same manner as God the Father and God the Son.

John 14:16-18

16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Allos Parakletos John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— In vs 16, for “another Helper”, Greek “allos Parakletos” Jesus used the word “another”, Greek “allos” meaning “another of the same sort,” not “heteros” as in being “different”. What Jesus was to His disciples, the Holy Spirit would be to His disciples, in His absence. Another Helper of the same kind. Another Person who will be the same kind of Helper to you, as I was. The Amplified Bible brings out the sevenfold meaning of the word ‘Parakletos’: John 14:16 Amplified Bible And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor— Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever—

Develop Your Relationship With The Holy Spirit

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. communion Gr. koinonia = partnership, fellowship, participation, intercourse, benefaction, distribution, having things in common, etc. Communion involves fellowship (sharing things with one another), partnership (working together) and friendship (intimacy). • TALK to Him. • ENJOY His presence. • GLORIFY Jesus – The Holy Spirit is here to glorify Jesus. When we go about glorifying Jesus, He gets involved. Now we will begin talking about spiritual gifts.

Concerning Spiritual Gifts

We take an introductory look at the gifts of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12, and we begin by understanding a little bit of the background to Paul’s letter to the Corinthians.

During his second missionary (A.D. 49 – A.D. 52), the apostle Paul spent about 18 months at Corinth (Acts 18:11), which was a port city, served by two harbors and a booming commercial center, known as ‘the Ornament of Greece” with an estimated population of about 200,000 people. Corinth had the temple of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and was staffed with 1,000 male and female temple prostitutes. Corinth’s reputation for immorality and pleasure was well known. Aquila and Priscilla were Jewish believers who had come to Corinth from Rome because of an edict issued by the Roman emperor Claudius, in A.D. 49, ordering all Jews to leave Rome (Acts 18:1-3). They worked with Paul making tents and ministering together at Corinth. Paul also received some support sent to him from Philippi (1 Corinthians 9:1-10, 2 Corinthians 11:6-10, Philippians 4:15-16). Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia and joined Paul, Aquila, Priscilla and Luke at Corinth (Acts 18:5). A thriving Spirit-filled church was established at Corinth. Paul had taught them many things including partaking in the Lord’s table, and had got them all exercising the gifts of the Spirit, and so on.

At the end of these 18 months, Paul, Aquila and Priscilla left Corinth, stopped briefly at Cenchrea and then went from there to Ephesus (Acts 18:18-19). Paul left Aquila and Priscilla behind and went on to Jerusalem. Aquila and Priscilla meet Apollos at Ephesus / [email protected] 3 All Peoples Church & World Outreach, Bangalore, India and taught him the things of the Lord Jesus. They later sent Apollos to Corinth recommending him to the believers there. Apollos was a great blessing to the believers at Corinth (Acts 18:24-28).

On his third missionary journey (A.D. 53 – A.D. 58), the apostle Paul spent about 3 years in Ephesus. During this time, some people from Corinth, including “those of Chloe’s household” (1 Corinthians 1:11) visited Paul at Ephesus and gave him an update on the problems at the church at Corinth. “Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus” (1 Corinthians 16:17) could have been some of the people who may have come from Corinth. So from Ephesus, Paul wrote 1 Corinthians to address the problems in the Corinthian church. Either the people who had come from Corinth or Titus could have carried this first epistle back to Corinth. Paul sent Titus to Corinth, to see the affairs of the church there.

Problems at the Corinthian church addressed in Paul’s first epistle to the Corinthians:

  • Division, strife – people taking sides with Paul, Peter, Apollos (chapters 1-4)
  • Sexual immorality (chapters 5-6)
  • Internal conflicts (chapter 6)
  • Marriage (chapter 7)

Food offered to idols (chapters 8,10) Paul then addresses issues related to proper conduct in gatherings in chapters 11-14:

  • head coverings for women in their worship gatherings (chapter 11:1-16)
  • participating in the Lord’s Supper (chapter 11:17-34)
  • exercise of spiritual gifts (chapters 12-14) Paul then reaffirms truth concerning the Gospel and the resurrection (chapter 15) In closing, he requests collection for the saints (chapter 16), which again would take place during their common gatherings.

So 1 Corinthians chapters 12 to 14, which address the exercise of the gifts of the Spirit, should be read and understood as instructions on how the gifts of the Spirit are exercised in the context of local church gatherings. This however, does not imply that the gifts of the Spirit can only be manifested in local church gatherings, because the Holy Spirit is always present and can manifest Himself through the believer at anytime, anywhere as He wills.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11 1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 2 You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led. 3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. / [email protected] 4 All Peoples Church & World Outreach, Bangalore, India 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

12:1 ‘spiritual’ (Greek ‘pneumatikos’) meaning ‘non-carnal’, ‘supernatural’. So we are talking about supernatural gifts. God wants us to know and understand these spiritual gifts.

12:3 When a person speaks by the Holy Spirit, he will glorify and acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ

12:4 varieties or different gifts given by the same Spirit gifts (Greek ‘charisma’) means a ‘gift of grace’. The word ‘charis’ means ‘grace’. The Spirit gives a variety (many, varied and different) gifts of grace. The gifts of the Spirit are given freely by and because of His grace.

12:5 ‘ministries’ (Greek ‘diakonia’) meaning ‘services’, ‘offices’ Example: the ministry (service or office) of a teacher, pastor, deacon, apostle, etc.

12:6 ‘activities’ (Greek ‘energēma’) meaning ‘workings’, ‘outward manifestations’, ‘effects’. This word is always used with reference to supernatural working in the New Testament

We can understand verses 4-6 in two ways, both are correct: Same Spirit gives different gifts of grace. Same Lord Jesus gives people different ministries (services, offices). Same Father God works through people in a variety of activities (or expressions, outward manifestations). Or, we can also look at these three verses as, same Spirit imparts a variety of gifts, empowers a variety of ministries and causes a variety of activities or things to take place through people.

12:7 the gifts of grace spoken of in verse 4, are also referred to as the manifestation of the Spirit, meaning the making visible of the Spirit’s presence and power. These are given to every believer for the benefit of all. Every believer can have the gifts of the Spirit (or manifestations of the Spirit).

12:8-11 in a local church gathering, as believers meet for fellowship, the Spirit of God manifests Himself in different ways through each person present. There are nine gifts of the Spirit listed and we will examine each one in detail.

‘distributing to each one individually’, implying that any of these nine gifts can be released through any believer at a given gathering. ‘as He wills’, the Holy Spirit releases these gifts as He chooses. However, as Paul addresses later, we have our part to play to ‘desire’ and know how to correctly express these gifts. So the manifestations of the Spirit, (the gifts of the Spirit) are a collaborative work. We work with the Holy Spirit to manifest the gifts. He wills, but we must also be willing, cooperating, desiring, have faith and properly release the gifts.

12:12-27 Paul then addresses the individual role, place and function that each believer has in the Body of Christ.

Gifts of the Spirit, Membership Gifts And Ministry Gifts

In the New Testament we see three categories of spiritual gifts

Categories of spiritual gifts

1 Corinthians 12:7-11

Gifts of the Spirit available to all believers. Nine gifts of the Spirit. Every believer can potentially manifest all of the nine gifts of the Spirit. Every believer must desire to manifest the gifts of the Spirit.

Romans 12:6-9

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 1 Peter 4:10-11

Ephesians 4:7

1 Peter 4:10-11

Gifts of Christ given to each believer in relation to their role and function in the Body of Christ. Every believer has one or more membership gifts. Examples: Prophecy, ministry (service), teaching, exhortation (encouragement), giving, leadership, mercy (compassion), and many others (helps, administrations, tongues). Every believer must recognize, nurture and exercise their specific membership gifts and functions.

Ephesians 4:11

Gifts of Christ given to specific individuals. Five ministry gifts: apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher, evangelist. These ministry gifts equip believers for work of the ministry.

1 Corinthians 12:28-30

In 1 Corinthians 12:28-30, the apostle Paul lists an assortment of Ministry gifts (apostles, prophets, teachers, miracles, gifts of healings) and Membership gifts (helps, administrations, varieties of tongues), and hence clearly indicates that not all members have the same Ministry or Membership gifts.

The above classification is primarily for instruction purposes. In practice, there is significant overlap of these gifts and hence these should not be compartmentalized in a very rigid manner.

The gifts of the Spirit empower every believer in their membership function and for those who have a ministry function as well. Hence we cannot segregate these three categories too much and must understand that there is overlap or significant interplay. The gifts of the Spirit empower the believer to fulfill their role (or responsibility), carry out membership function, and to also operate in their office (for those appointed to an office).

For example consider the ‘gift of prophecy’ (1 Corinthians 12:10), the membership gift/function of ‘prophecy’ (Romans 12:6), and the ministry gift of ‘prophet’ (Ephesians 4:11). Every believer can manifest the gift of prophecy bringing edification, exhortation and comfort to others (1 Corinthians 14:3). Some believers have a membership gift/function of prophecy where they primarily, constantly, and consistently minister to others through prophecy. We could call them prophesying believers and may even say that they have a prophetic ministry. Some may be appointed to the ministry gift of prophet, which in addition to a prophetic ministry will also include other areas of influence in the Body of Christ (governmental authority, greater spheres of influence, declaring moves of God, etc.).

So What Does 1 Corinthians 12:28-30 Mean?

1 Corinthians 12:28-30

28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

‘has appointed’ meaning, to put in place for His own use. ‘these’ in KJV ‘some’, implying specific people, not everyone. ‘first’ (Greek ‘proton’) meaning first in time or place, or first in rank, influence, honor. God has put some people in these places (roles or functions) giving them their place, rank, influence and honor. ‘helps’ referring to those who render any kind of aid, assistance, service or help; helpers. ‘administrations’ in KJV ‘governments’, meaning ‘to govern’ or ‘rule’ and is usually applied to the one steering a ship.

The apostle Paul lists an assortment of Ministry gifts (apostles, prophets, teachers, miracles, gifts of healings) and Membership gifts (helps, administrations, varieties of tongues), and hence clearly indicates that not all members have the same Ministry or Membership gifts.

Ministry gifts (apostles, prophets, teachers, miracles, gifts of healings). We see ‘miracles’ and ‘gifts of healings’ representative of the evangelist.

Membership gifts (helps, administrations, varieties of tongues). The ‘varieties of tongues’ represents believers who have membership function that regularly expresses ‘varieties of tongues’ e.g. intercessors, those who bring public messages in tongues.

Difference Between the Gifts of the Spirit and Ministry Gifts

  1. The gifts of the Spirit are given by the Spirit. Ministry gifts are given by the Lord Jesus
  2. The gifts of the Spirit are available for all believers. Ministry gifts are given to some.
  3. The gifts of the Spirit are primarily directed toward the spiritual edification of God’s people. Ministry gifts are directed toward equipping God’s people for the work of the ministry.
  4. The gifts of the Spirit usually minister to a local body. Ministry gifts may do this and in addition also minister to the Body in a larger context (nation, nations, etc.)

In closing:

1 Corinthians 12:31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.

1 Corinthians 14:1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

We must all walk in love and we must all desire the best gifts. The best gift is the gift that is needed at that moment.

epikaizo anointing

epikaizo anointing

Epikaizo (overshadow) is a Hebrew word used in the Bible to talk of the highest manifestation of God’s power. This is when God’s presence overwhelms (overshadows, overtakes) man and causes the physical faculties of man to lose their earthly essence and take upon the form of the Spirit. This is when the natural is quickened by the concentration of God’s power to materialize into the supernatural.

Moses experienced the Epikaizo when he spent 40 days 40 nights on the mountain.

The reason why God relates to Abraham and Moses (epikaizo) in that regard is simply because God cannot renege on His Word. God’s Word is that He has given man authority in the Earth, therefore God has to have Abraham’s approval beforehand.

epikaizo anointing

What can I do to experience Epikaizo?

The key to Epikaizo is Revelation – Go for the Word!

1 Peter 1:13

‘‘Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;’’

King James Version

Whether you are meditating more in His word, studying to know Him more personally, praying in other tongues, associating with those in the Epikaizo experience, confessing the promises of God or fasting and prayer, the master key is revelation. Revelation gives birth to a relationship and relationship gives birth to experience.

When Abraham saw God as Jehovah Jireh in that He believed that even if he offered Isaac as a burnt sacrifice, God was faithful and able to bring Him back to life, that is provide another Isaac, God manifested Himself Him as Jireh (the Lord, My provider).

So, if you see God as the healer, you will know Him as the healer; if you see Him as the sanctifier, you will experience Him as the sanctifier.

Be transformed by the renewal of your mind!

Romans 12:2

‘‘And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.’’

Ephesians 3:9

‘‘And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: ‘’

Colosians 1:27

‘‘26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:’’

 King James Version

epikaizo anointing
epikaizo anointing

God’s glory put simply, is the revelation of his nature and attributes. When you grasp the revelation of Christ by consistently growing in your knowledge of the person and principles of Christ, Epikaizo becomes a by-product of your fellowship with the Lord.

To communion or fellowship with the Lord means to come into common union with Christ; to share everything mutually to the point where it becomes difficult to distinguish between you and God. It is a level of mutual exchange where God takes more of your weaknesses and gives you more of His strength; where He takes away your sinfulness and freely gives you His righteousness because of His eternal and unconditional love for you. In other words, this is the working of grace (mercy and unmerited favor) in a man where all that is of the sinful nature of man, be it sin, frailties or whatever (past, present and future) are checked into Christ’s account and all that belongs to Christ is checked into your account.1 John 1:3-7

‘‘ 3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.’’
King James Version

The main purpose of salvation is for every believer to come into fellowship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. What a privilege?
1 Cor 1:9
‘‘God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.’’

John 1:6-8 – John The Baptist

John 1:6-8 – John The Baptist
John the Baptist

John 1:6-8 – John The Baptist

John 1:6-8 HCSB There was a man named John who was sent from God. (7) He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him. (8) He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light.

If you have been watching the news about Iraq recently you may have heard about the persecution of the Mandeans – modern-day followers of John the Baptist. In fact in the first century John the Baptist got such a large following among Jews and other folk in the Middle East that quite a bit of the New Testament is spent explaining the connection between the two cousins – John and Jesus. In Acts 19 Paul has to explain the gospel more fully to a group of John’s disciples in Ephesus as the changeover from following John to following Jesus was not as automatic as we may think.

In Matthew 11:11-13 Jesus says that His cousin John was the culmination of the Law and the Prophets and the “greatest of those born of women”. Yet John, despite his greatness “was not the light”, but rather, like all the prophets of old, John ‘bore witness to the Light”. John “prepared the way of the Lord” by helping Jews take the necessary steps of faith so they could be ready to hear the message of Jesus.

“There was a man named John who was sent from God.” Those “sent by God” are apostles (that is what the word apostle means). Apostles are not sent from a nation as an ambassador, or from a company as a representative but directly from God so as to speak on His behalf.

Those sent from God are sent with a particular message to a particular people – just as Jonah was sent to Nineveh with the commission to warn them of impending judgment. Thus John the Baptist was sent to the desert of Judea with the message “repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand” and a purpose “to be the voice crying in the wilderness prepare ye the way of the Lord.”

John thus prepared the way for Jesus by calling the Jewish people to repentance, so Jesus could call them to faith in Him. The New Testament makes clear that we cannot have biblical faith apart from moral regeneration. The faith of the positive thinkers is not enough. New Testament faith has a direction and that direction is into God, and into His nature.

We cannot remain in sin and truly believe in Jesus, because if we truly believe what Jesus said we will believe what He said about sin and righteousness and repentance.

Believing in Jesus is not just believing that He exists, or that He is loving and nice, or even that He is God, it is also believing what He said and thus obeying His commandments. If Jesus says “do not lay up treasure on earth’ (Matthew 6:19) and we do so then we are not believing what He said.

Believing in Jesus requires stern moral commitment. It is more than a warmed heart; it is a morally changed life. John came as a preacher of righteousness and moral regeneration so that people could be convicted of their sin and turn to God for mercy and a new life in Christ.

The modern debate on grace is often misconstrued. Grace is not God excusing you from all sorts of abhorrent moral behavior, nor is it a free pass into heaven for the unrepentant. Grace is given to make us holy. Grace calls us from wickedness to repentance, grace reveals the way from repentance to faith in Christ, grace grows us from initial faith to deeper sanctification and grace frees and transforms us along the path from sanctification to ultimate glorification.

Grace gives people the chance to become like Jesus. Grace makes the highway of holiness one that is free from condemnation so that we have the courage to travel along it. Grace is not the same as freedom from condemnation, which is only part of the story. We don’t sit down in the road saying: “Wow, I am free from condemnation.” The idea is to keep moving toward Christ-likeness.

It is much easier to tell a convicted and repentant sinner about Jesus, than a complacent and self-satisfied person who is uncaring of the state of his or her soul. So John came to stir people up so that they would care about their souls and seek God.

John came “so that all might believe through him.” He was a prophet who had as his objective – that others would believe in Jesus. Our ministries should be the same – pointing always to the Savior.

“He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light.” No matter how great our intelligence or insight or calling we are not the Light. Only Jesus is the light. Sometimes we make a preacher or teacher or founder of an organization or denomination another “light”. That is wrong, they may give witness to the light, but they are not the light. You can disagree with me and still be wonderfully saved, but you cannot disagree with Jesus and be saved. Jesus is the Truth and I and all other ministers of the gospel merely point to Him.

The Mandeans need Jesus. They need the Light. No man born of woman can guide us. Only Jesus is the Light of our lives.

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri:

”In one of my recent posts, I asked for your testimonies to see what God has done in your life through my ministry.

I read every comment on that post and I was meticulously speechless with the testimonies I got from you all. I have selected few that I want to share with you. I wish I could simply copy and paste all testimonies, but that would require your whole day to read them all.”

”Below are some of the testimonies that caught my eye:

Success Jedidiah Nqojane: As papa declared this year a year of deliverance & preservation, I was preserved. I had a job interview. I woke up early and around 5 am, I got out from the house after walking 10 min from where I stay, and I saw two men walking towards me.

One of them took a gun and pointed it at me. They were so close. I looked at the gun and thought of waiting for a bullet to be fired at me, but something told me to run. Despite my heavy weight, I ran and left them behind. They were also coming after me but they couldn’t catch me. I wasn’t harmed or anything. I was preserved as Major declared.

I finally got the jobs I am now employed and it’s a good job.

Sarah Macklon: On third of June 2014 when I traveled from Nyimba Zambia to Lilongwe, Papa you gave me a prophecy that I will conceive after 10 years of bareness. Surely it came to pass instantly and its now a week after delivering my anointed child. You are so powerful Papa and may the Lord keep on increasing you in Jesus’ name.

Nickson Chafika: I won a court case after receiving a prophecy from u in 2011 and you also told me that my future is here in Malawi and that I should not go outside the country to work. I listened to you man of God and now I have built a big mansion that most of my friends that travelled out can’t afford. Thanks to Jesus. May God bless you.

Shiny Mogwe: I never miss live services unless I have something beyond my control. During these services I participate as if I am I Pretoria., the Holy Spirit moves in my house. I remember when Papa said people would see oil and gold dust on their hands, oil appeared immediately on my hands. Power!

Ernest O Nyirenda My wife’s elder sister had a tumor in her womb and she was at Bwaila hospital waiting to be operated in the womb. I took the bottle of holy water and after service at Crossroads Hotel when you were going out you were touching people. By God’s grace you also touched the bottle of water I was carrying.

When she drunk from the bottle, at night she started menstruation. Very dark blood oozed out of her body. In the morning she was referred to Kamuzu Central Hospital. When the Doctors scanned her before operation, they realized that the tumor was not there. It was gone. That is how she got healed. Praise the Lord! As I am speaking now she has a baby girl. I always testify to people for what God did to her through your ministry. Just a touch on a the bottle of water someone got healed. May almighty God increase you Papa.

Liisa Shivute: I started watching Prophetic Channel this year in February. I was happy to watch the rebroadcast story on how the Medical Doctor was prophesied that there is an ancestral spirit in the family, killed the son and three husbands. I learnt a lot from that prophecy that, sometimes we don’t know the roots of our problems.

Since that day, I am addicted to watch Prophetic Channel and sleep with the TV on. There used to be robbers jumping over my wall several times, and never break into the house. The first time we saw the person, several times only the footprints in the yard. Because the Holy Ghost Fire is burning. Last time the Man of God prayed for us on the screen and I was connected spiritually, I was under the influence of the Holy Spirit, found myself vibrating. When I woke up this morning, I had a feeling in my stomach and was vomiting white saliva. I believe that was my deliverance, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Patricia Elise Fouda: I received a prophecy from you on 22nd of February this year concerning my whole life, and since then my salon is moving day by day. Before I would stay for a week without seeing even one customer now it’s new dawn in my business. Thank you major prophet for your prayers. My name is Patricia, I’m from Cameroon.

Henry Raj: The Lord has blessed my spiritual life, health, wealth, finances, beautiful wife and most of all encouragement from the Lord through Prophet Shepherd Bushiri..

Kenanao Thuthunyane: when you were in Botswana you prophesied about glittering hands and oil from hands. Since that day I am so uplifted. And my wish and plan is to visit your Ministry in Pretoria this year. I watch Prophetic Channel every time when am at home and I keep on being spiritually uplifted.

Pona Shabe: Last week Monday I was watching Diplomatic Service. Papa you prayed for our documents. I took my Road Accident Fund forms to their office after the Dr. has signed and when I got there after two weeks the lady at the reception said she miss placed my forms. I was so upset I wanted to cry on my way to work after watching Diplomatic Service she called me and said I must bring the other form from the specialist. I called the surgery and the receptionist called to come and collect my forms. Papa live services are making miracles

Sibongile Maseko: I was watching Prophetic channel on Easter holidays and you declared that whatever we ate from the enemies table we shall vomit pointing if we touch the screen. I touched and I started vomiting for two days. On Sunday night I dreamt floating on top of water and there were people shouting that I must not take a certain direction it’s dangerous until I landed on dry ground. I believe I received my deliverance. Thank u Jesus. I note I have never been in your church or services but the anointing that I desire located me.

Harvey Msodoka: Through you Papa, GOD has saved my life am a born again. My life is delivered from evil I used to do like beer drinking, stealing. My family members are also delivered by the same grace. through prophecy I have discovered my calling of which am serving GOD with much power because the same grace you have is imparted to me and is working wonders. Every time I listen to your teachings my life is growing spiritually. You will live long Papa.

Nigel Savel: Prophet when you came to Cape Town last year, you prophesied and prayed for our organization to accelerate and expand, that funding applications we submit will be granted so that we can impact the Youth of Cape Town and every word and every decree in prayer has been fulfilled and still manifesting until this day. You also prayed over our documents and till this day, I feel the anointing and presence over those documents which we filed and touch every time we submit an application for funding. Thank you Man of God for being the Mighty Vessel of the Most High God to us and our generation.

Rotakala Roro Sidimela: Major one I was struggling to see my periods for a long time but using the anointing Oil of Prophet Shepard Bushiri my periods are back. Tank you Jesus.

Sindiswa AB Lusenga It’s been a month now since I discovered Prophetic channel. I used to have bad dreams like sleeping with man, being chased by dogs and seeing snakes, but since I started watching Prophetic Channel and praying a long with you, I have been sleeping like a baby and I will never stop watching this channel. Thank you man of God.

To all those who have testified, let your miracles be permanent in Jesus’ name.

Scripture Reference: Psalms 34:15

““The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; His ears are open to their cries for help.”

I remember a certain occurrence that took place many years ago. One evening, I arrived home very late from the office and unfortunately, I found that I didn’t have the door key. Needless to say, everyone else was inside sleeping. I tried knocking on the door but no one opened. I tried ringing the doorbell repeatedly but this too was not heard. So I went to the other side, yelled next to one of the bedroom windows for my brother to open the door and then seconds later, I saw him at the front door. I asked him, “You didn’t hear all of the noise I was making?” He said, “No!” I asked, “So then, what woke you up?” He said, “I heard your voice.”

Action Point:

For years and years the children of Israel had cried out in agony for help. They wanted to escape the torment of slavery- but despite God loving Israel, it seemed as though He was inattentive to their plea.

Till one day, the Bible tells us that God heard their cry (Exodus 3:7).You may wonder, why was God not hearing them all this time? The answer is simple. Though they may have been crying out, they were not crying out to God but crying out to each other. Just like how I kept on knocking on the door.

Tantrums, emotional fits, depression and acting out accomplishes nothing at getting God’s attention. And in the same context, complaining to your neighbor and your best friend will achieve nothing as well, as long as you negate God Himself.

God’s ears are attentive to your cries! He is near to the brokenhearted and will draw close to you when you draw close to Him. He is ready to intervene in your life and in your situation. All you need to do is ensure that you cry out to HIM. Let Him be the one to hear the cry of your heart, let God hear your voice!
